Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resurgee ("we", "us", "our"), an AI-powered task management orchestration service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Resurgee augments your existing Google Tasks and Google Calendar with:

  • Proactive task notifications
  • AI-powered rescheduling suggestions
  • Conversational daily planning
  • Pattern-based scheduling recommendations across multiple linked Google accounts

Resurgee does not replace Google Tasks/Calendar — it reads from and writes to your connected Google account(s) on your behalf, with your authorization.

2. Accounts

  • You must sign in via Google OAuth to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any device used to access it.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You may link multiple Google accounts (work, school, personal); you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect each account.

3. Subscription Plans

  • Prices, quotas, and feature sets may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes affecting paid subscribers.
  • Subscriptions are billed and managed through our payment processors (RevenueCat, LemonSqueezy, or app-store billing where applicable). Billing disputes or refund requests are subject to those processors' terms as well as ours.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
  • Usage quotas (e.g. AI conversations per month) reset on your monthly billing cycle and do not roll over.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription quotas, rate limits, or authentication controls.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond documented/authorized use.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of the task, calendar, and conversation data you create or connect through the Service.
  • You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service (e.g. syncing with Google, generating AI suggestions), as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Google APIs, OpenAI, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and payment processors to function. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable (e.g. Google's Terms of Service, OpenAI's usage policies). We are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services outside our control.

7. AI-Generated Suggestions

Rescheduling suggestions, daily-planning responses, and pattern-based recommendations are generated by an AI model and are provided for convenience only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, optimal, or error-free. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any AI-suggested changes before they take effect on your calendar or task list.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate (including AI-generated content).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resurgee and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or missed tasks/appointments, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if required by law.
  • Upon termination, our data-retention and deletion practices are as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice where required.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
